Private Divorce

Private Divorce

Court divorces are ugly and expensive.  A judge will never know you, your children or your situation as well as you and your spouse.  By going through the courts in order to divorce you are essentially asking a person who has never met you to treat you and your situation fairly.  Not to mention attorneys traditionally charge $200.00 an hour.  In order for you and your spouse to divorce using the traditional court method you are essentially spending $400.00 an hour.  This is money that could be well spent in other areas.

A private divorce is one in which the divorcing couple meets with a private mediator and the terms of the divorce are agreed upon during mediation sessions.  The divorcing couple never sees the inside of a courtroom and the mediator, who is usually a trained lawyer, handles all the legal forms.  The process is much quicker, friendlier and much more less expensive.
